GGG Burlington

Overview

In July 2017, I set off with my compatriot Sarah Apple to paint a series of murals that celebrate real womxn in the places where they live. We painted in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New York, but Vermont was our destination. Behind a thrift store in Burlington we spent a week painting 25 womxn that live in Vermont, creating a rainbow of depth and character and stories. They were not chosen for their outstanding accomplishments or alluring looks. They are just people.
